Service Recipients
Library Access
NCKU faculty members, staffs, students, adjunct teachers/doctors, alumni, credit or continuing studies students, temporary workers, and immediate family members (aged 12 and above) of university faculty members may access the library with their university‑issued ID cards, student ID cards, or library‑issued library cards. For library volunteers, individual members and honorary friends may enter the library using the library‑issued access cards.
General guests(age 16 and above) may exchange their National ID card, valid driver’s license, passport, student ID, or equivalent documents for a “Library Access Card”. Guests may access the library after registering through the “Access Application System for NCKU Library Patrons” and swiping the card upon entry. Upon leaving, please return the “Library Access Card” to retrieve identification documents.
Notice
Lending of identification to others is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in suspension of library access and lending rights for 7 to 30 days for on‑campus readers, and for 1 to 3 months for off‑campus readers. Using forged or altered identification for entry may result in a suspension of library access, lending rights, and access to electronic resources for on‑campus readers for up to 3 months, while a permanent suspension of access to the library and lending rights for off‑campus readers.
NCKU faculty members, staff and students who did not bring ID cards or Student IDs: (1) Non‑finals period: NCKU faculty members, staff and students may provide National IDs, NHI card, valid driver’s license or passport to enter the library. The aforementioned identification documents does not act as a valid proof for borrowing books and spaces. If unable to provide the identification documents mentioned before, the individual will be considered a general guest where personal books are not allowed in the library (except laptop). (2) Finals period: NCKU faculty members will follow the same procedure as general guests to enter the library by providing identification documents mentioned above whereby personal books are not allowed in the library (except laptop). Individuals unable to provide the identification documents mentioned above will not be allowed to enter the library. (3) NCKU students may login to their account in KUAP and show their “status” in the “My Area” tab to enter the library and borrow books at the circulation desk.
Individuals holding the identification documents listed below are not allowed to bring personal books into the library (except laptop). Personal books and bags must be stored in the Library Lockers, please refer to Visitor Access Policy of NCKU Library for more information.
(1) Faculty/Staff Dependent Library Card, (2) Interlibrary Borrowing Service Card, (3) Library Member Card, (4) Volunteer Card, (5) Library Access Card.
Food, drinks (except water), prohibited items and pets are not allowed in the library. Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent mode and are only allowed to be used in restricted areas.
The use of personal belongings to reserve seats or leaving them unattended for over 30 minutes is considered as hogging seats. The library reserves the right to relocate such belongings to a designated area without assuming responsibility for safekeeping or compensate for damages.
Users who violate 4, 5 and 6
(1) On‑campus readers: 1 violation point. Accumulating 2 violation points within 1 year results in a 1‑month of denied access to the library and lending rights.
(2) Off‑campus readers: 1 violation point and is subjected to leave the library immediately. Entry is not allowed for the rest of the day. Accumulating 2 violation points within 1 year results in a 3‑month suspension of entry and lending rights. Users should take care of their own personal belongings, the library is not responsible for the safekeeping of their belongings.

How to get to the Main Library (Cheng-Kung campus)
THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail) shuttle bus stop
By Train: Stepping out from the rear entrance once you reach the Tainan Railway Station, walking along the Dasyue Road (大學路), passing through the Kuang‑Fu campus (光復校區) and crossing Shengli Road (勝利路) junction, then keep going until you reach the Cheng‑Kung campus (成功校區) main gate, which is on your left hand side. After entering the main gate, turning right and following the path, after passing several engineering faculties, then you will the library building on your left hand side. Please refer to the campus map.
By THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail): Take Taiwan High Speed Rail to Tainan Station. Take TRA (Taiwan Railways Administration) Shalun Line Train to Tainan Railroad Station, which takes about 20 mins.
By Bus: When you reach Tainan, please look for the way to the Tainan Railway Station, then pass through the underground passage, and get to the rear entrance of Tainan Railway Station. Walking along the Dasyue Road (大學路), passing through the Kuang‑Fu campus (光復校區) and crossing Shengli Road (勝利路) junction, then keep going until you reach the Cheng‑Kung campus (成功校區) main gate, which is on your left hand side. After entering the main gate, turning right and following the path, after passing several engineering faculties, then the library will be on your left hand side. Please refer to the campus map.
By Car from the north through freeway: Driving on the National Highway No.1 (國道一號高速公路) from the north, then getting off from the Yongkang Interchange (永康交流道) exit. Turning to the right and driving along the Jhongjheng S. Road (中正南路), then turning left to Jhonghua Road (中華路). Making a right turn when meeting the junction with Siaodong Road (小東路), driving along the Siaodong Road until you reach the National Cheng Kung University Medical College, and the library is located opposite to the Medical College across the Siaodong Road.
From Airport: The easiest way is taking a taxi, asking the taxi driver to stop at the National Cheng Kung University Cheng‑Kung campus (成功校區) on Siaodong‑Road (小東路). The library is located on the right hand side after the main gate. Or renting a car and driving along Datong Road (大同路) until reaching the Dongmen Circle (東門圓環). Turning into Beimen Road (北門路) and keep going along Beimen Road, passing through the Tainan Railway Station and still keeping driving along Beimen Road. Turning right into Siaodong Road (小東路) when reaching a T‑junction, passing the Shengli Road (勝利路), the library is located on the right hand side.

教師授課需要：在合理使用範圍內，認有必要將他人著作列為內部參考資料時，且依該著作之種類、用途及其重製物之數量、方法等等，不會侵害於著作財產權人之利益者，被允許可以註明出處，得重製他人已公開發表之著作，作為上課的教材，著作權法第四十六條規定，參酌教師授課著作權錦囊。
讀者個人上課及學習需求：使用本館書刊資源時，在合理使用範圍內且非營利之目的可利用本館提供之機器重製(影印、列印、掃描、複製等)已公開發表著作之一部分，或期刊或已公開發表之研討會論文集之單篇著作，每人以一份為限，著作權法第四十八條第一項第一款及著作權法第五十一條規定，請使用正版教科書，勿非法掃描、影印、下載、上傳書籍、教材，以免侵害他人著作權。
什麼是合理使用：著作權法第六十五條第一項規定「著作之合理使用，不構成著作財產權之侵害」，簡單來說，是在符合合理使用的規定之下，使用者不必取得著作權人的授權，即可在一定的範圍之內利用他人著作。
什麼是合理使用的範圍：在著作權法對於合理使用的範圍沒有明確的界定，必須依照個案的情況來做判斷，在著作權法第六十五條規定是依「利用之目的及性質，包括係為商業目的或非營利教育目的」、「著作之性質」、「所利用之質量及其在整個著作所占之比例」、「利用結果對著作潛在市場與現在價值之影響」等概括方式做為判斷之基準。
電子資源使用限制：讀者在使用本館電子資源(包括電子資料庫、電子期刊及電子書等)時，請確實遵守使用規範，切莫利用軟體或有系統的大量下載全文資料，以免損害本校聲譽及全校使用權利，並勿透過網際網路(包括搜尋引擎、社群平台、電商平台等)搜尋下載、轉傳、分享任何未經合法授權之著作，以免因侵害他人著作權而觸法。
提醒：請確實遵守智慧財產權相關規定，避免不慎違反相關規定，讀者必須自負相關法律責任。

為便利本校教職員工生及附設醫院同仁，自校外透過電子資源查詢系統或資源整合查詢系統查詢本館資料庫、電子期刊、電子書等電子資源，故提供此項服務。
本校讀者自校外連線，請務必先進行VPN設定並登入，才能連線使用及取得全文。
使用設定方法
首次使用依說明完成安裝Pulse Secure軟體、設定連線資訊與帳密，並勾選「儲存資訊」，無須每次重新設定。Pulse Secure圖示會長駐在電腦版桌面角落(或可自行設定為桌面捷徑)，需要時點擊連線即可啟用。
一、校部教職員生，請連線計網中心SSL VPN並根據說明進行設定。
二、校部兼任教師，請使用人事室核發之帳號密碼，並請先至成功入口將預設密碼更改後登入（請勿使用預設密碼）。詳細設定，請洽計網中心宋先生分機61037，raysong@mail.ncku.edu.tw。
三、附設醫院員工（無學校身分者），請連線醫院 LibSearchVPN進行設定。
四、附設醫院兼任醫師，請使用醫令系統帳號即可登入。

消息內容
辦理單位：主辦：國立成功大學、國立成功大學台灣文學系；協辦（書展、影展）：國立成功大學圖書館。
諾貝爾和平獎國際論壇：突尼西亞對話系列活動
茉莉花革命於2010-2011年間，在中東、北非掀起一波民主化浪潮，值得台灣借鏡。台灣在邁向民主化過程中，開啟不同群體之間對話，促進社會內部溝通與和解，尋求化解社會衝突途徑。本館與台灣文學系合作，配合本校邀請2015年諾貝爾和平獎得主「突尼西亞全國四方對話」團隊來台灣講座，舉辦書展、影片播映及映後座談。

館藏【看見台灣】齊柏林紀錄片影展6/12-6/18
2017年5月本校圖書館舉辦「坎城70」館藏電影展時，有參加影展活動的讀者希望圖書館能安排以大螢幕播映獲得2013年第50屆金馬獎最佳紀錄片【看見台灣】。該片以高空攝影拍攝臺灣的高山、海洋、湖泊、河流、森林、稻田、魚塭、城市等景觀，2013年上映時票房超過2億元，成為臺灣電影史票房最高的紀錄片。【看見台灣】紀錄片的導演為齊柏林先生，2017年6月10日搭乘直升機進行【看見台灣Ⅱ】紀錄片的勘景及拍攝工作時，因直升機墜落而罹難。
本校圖書館為推介館藏、支援教學研究，並因應讀者的建議，安排2017年6月14日至15日（週三、週四）晚間18:30於B1多媒體中心大團體室播映圖書館館藏齊柏林導演的紀錄片【看見台灣】、【鳥目台灣】2部紀錄片，歡迎本校師生員工、同仁眷屬及社區朋友蒞臨欣賞。

捷克百年國慶經典電影展2018.11成大電影之夜 Czech Cinema Night@NCKU.tw：Happy Birthday Czech Republic 1918-2018
主辦：國立成功大學博物館、國立成功大學圖書館。Organizer：NCKU Museum、NCKU Library。

Karel Zeman (1910-1989) 被稱為「幻想的魔術師」，作品風格特殊，充滿想像空間，以冒險題材為主，代表作有《被盜的飛船》、《洞男爵的冒險》以及《史前世界之旅》。他在捷克共產制度瓦解前夕辭世，一生的傑作為封閉政治環境下的孩童與大人帶來無比珍貴的幻想空間與溫暖的鼓舞。

英文片名 The Fabulous World of Jules Verne，捷克文片名 Vynalez zkazy。1958年捷克斯洛伐克科幻冒險片，由Karel Zeman執導，劇情為Jules Verne小說中的海底世界，結合演員、木偶和動畫，呈現19世紀工業革命的機械科技與華麗管絃配樂，獲得1958年布魯塞爾世界博覽會世博獎及多個影展獎項，於1961年由華納兄弟影業公司在北美首映，隨後在全球72個國家發行。

永遠的英子：林海音百年誕辰紀念活動20180419-0429
消息內容
林海音是著名作家，也是臺灣文學的重要推手。今年2018年4月28日是臺灣文壇人士尊稱為「林先生」的林海音女士的百年誕辰，本館在本校通識教育中心夏祖焯教授、中文系蘇偉貞教授的協助下，於4月19日至29日舉辦演講、圖書影音展、電影欣賞及映後座談等系列紀念活動，歡迎本校師生員工同仁及圖書館讀者蒞臨參加。
★永遠的英子：林海音百年誕辰紀念 系列活動
2018年4月19-29日「館藏圖書影音展」，地點：總圖1樓東側多功能閱覽區。
2018年4月19日（週四）18:30-20:10電影欣賞《城南舊事》，地點：總圖B1多媒體中心。
2018年4月25日（週三）19:00-21:00專題演講《林海音的小說與她的為人處事背道而馳？》主講：夏祖焯教授/成大通識中心，地點：總圖1樓東側多功能閱覽區。
2018年4月26日（週四）15:10-17:10林海音紀錄片《兩地》播映及映後座談，主講：蘇偉貞教授、李京珮助理教授/成大中文系，地點：總圖B1會議廳。
林海音以北平城南故事為背景所寫的著名小說《城南舊事》，曾被翻譯成各種語文並被改編成電影及繪本，奠定了林海音的文學地位。她創辦的文學雜誌與出版社《純文學》，培育無數作家，且其居所亦成為文藝沙龍。北京城南的英子，到了臺北城南變成文壇上令人尊崇的「林先生」。
導演楊力州以林海音「雙鄉/兩地」的特殊身分切入，並邀請知名小說家、本校中文系蘇偉貞教授以及李京珮助理教授主講映後座談。
4月25日（週三）晚間19:00，由林海音長子、本校通識教育中心夏祖焯教授現身說法，分享母親林海音的小說委婉溫馨，並與讀者互動討論。全程參與本講座，大學部同學可獲「通識教育生活實踐」認證；另提供公務人員終身學習時數2小時（連結演講活動報名網頁）。
